Ketchup time

For those of you who know me I will aim for ketching up time lol
And for those who dont hope you will come and say hello and we can get to know each other.

I got a lovely little one bedroom unit last week on the Redcliffe Peninsular. This is a place where Mr. Joe and Sam are close by although at the moment we havent caught up more than texts.

I found it a nightmare unpacking boxes others had packed for me as I never went back to my home.

I have 4 rooms ..a bedroom , lounge.kitchen and bathroom so no space!! 
Its a block of 40 units and I am the youngest tenant at 55!
One lady sweetly told me she thought i must be someones daughter as I dont have enough wrinkles to be 55!

At the bottom of my road is the ocean and I make myself walk there every day at least once. Its really an imposition with 30 degree heat and glorious sunshine NOT lol

I am to go to England again for all of you I met last time..
In April 2012 and Morning Angel has my itinerary.
Am also heading to the USA to see my daughter Kimberley for the first time in almost 2 years in May and then back to the UK and Switzerland.

My grand daughter is now 5 years old! Some of you were here when she was born .

The rest of the children are up and down . Some speak some dont and for the first time in my life it doesnt bother me.

I miss my animals ... I cant seem to face getting new ones
but am already getting involved in life in my new area and sharing good times with friends and family.

Am CURRENTLY SINGLE!

I admit I am contemplating dating but only as light liaisons nothing HEAVY 

So maybe you will see the odd hot and steamy poem grins

I have my own place now and after speaking to Deb....I thought at 55 you might think me a little old for PDC..she told me to come and blog a normal blog....!
Now obviously she has forgotten who I am lol..

The Tomorrows

Well I am in a safety shelter where I am not allowed to tell where I am . The men walk free while the women are the ones behind steel doors for our own safety.
We sit sometimes wondering at our own stupidity listen to each others stories and stress about when we go to court and where will the monster be that might be trying to find us.
We talk of building our strengths and our character so no man will harm us again and then we talk of our weaknesses and why it happened to us.
We try to do NORMAL things like walk the town but always watching alert in case we are found. We try to shop with little money as we have lost our homes our families and most of our friends are remote.
I am blessed one of my children has driven nearly 3 hours to see me for her birthday and others text or email.
One child hates me but whats new lol.
We try to eat meals and clean and do the NORMAL functions but still we sit with fear and wonder at our tomorrows.
I am 55 years old now. You who know me know I have survived much.....
but it seems that my world still keeps spinning.....
What of the tomorrows.....I guess that we will have to wait and see
This week is COURT WEEK
He and I go before a judge and God willing he will be charged with the murder of my pets.....
Each night I wake with the nightmare and wish I could wake to dreams..

Well I am sitting in a place 
where I have the clothes on my back
I left the house in a hurry
Could not really pack
Sat in a police station and told my tail
Then shook in my mates and let out a wail

The man who was my friend
Who was so safe and good
Killed my cat and my dog and told me I was next
And I didnt dare breathe in case he was vexed

He is stalking my home the security guards say
So until he is in custody I have to stay away
I wasnt allowed on PDC before
Sorry to my friends but I have a cure

I am free as a bird and I will be ok
But wanted from me to say gday
Hope you all are fine and will visit me here
And maybe we can celebrate letting out a freedom cheer.

UPDATE PArT TWO

Where we are at now is that the Insurance Company in the UK decided that my dad can fly home with a doctor and nurse in attendance and oxygen on the plane.
So we completed all the paperwork and then its a matter of an airline accepting them
At the time of writing this we are told there is a possibility of flight in 2 days time and that a doctor and nurse should arrive today to visit my mum and dad from the UK.
They will travel first class home whenever it is to be.
I am from now on to visit my parents in the UK yearly or as needed!
So guess will be catching up with some of you within the next few months.
As to my lovelife I AM STILL NOT IN LOVE but happy with my friendship with my friend Steve. We have been together 5 months now and he is a good person.
THE PARA turned up at my daughters door last night in his uniform and so we reported it to his superiors.
I dont need history in my world.
I miss you all and pray in the next two to four days blogs will be back to normal for me!

UPDATE WHERE IS THE REBELLADY

Well I am still here and sorry to all of you that I have not been around but my world has been a little insane
To finish my last blog BABY JELLYBEAN LIVES my niece changed her mind and ZAKK is now in her womb at almost 5 months.......

Now my world.....
When my parents had almost finished their visit my Dad woke up vomitting one morning. About thirty minutes later he let out massive screams and I thought he was dying in my arms of a heart attack as we waited for the ambulance.

The hospital is on my street but the wait seemed hours.
When my dad was taken to Caboolture Hospital he had scans then a doctor came to talk to me. He said they had found a mass in my dads liver and gall bladder........99% sure it was cancerous.
THEY ASKED ME TO TELL MY MOTHER FIRST which i did in a quiet room and then they gave me 10 Minutes to ask my dad if he wanted just PALLIATIVE CARE ( pain killers until death) or to be treated in Australia.
My dad is 89 and had a pretty amazing life but he wanted a little more he tells me so I got the unpleasant task of asking my dad
He said he wanted TREATMENT..........
And so began our journey. The Royal Brisbane Hospital is over an hour from my home. Its $20 a day parking. That is where they transferred my dad. More scans and hating the word cancer they said he had something SINISTER inside him!
Each morning my mum who is 78 had to come with me to near the city to my son Joshes........and then His partner Kerry drove us 30 minutes in city traffic and dropped us off. We had his family in the UK to tell ...........5 children over 20 grandchildren and about 50 great grand children.
Then came the British Insurance company calling all hours for and with updates. MY children and grand child and friends to tell and arrange visits and my dad wanting us at his side every moment we could.
Surgeons came daily telling us that they wanted to operate on 7th April and my dad sat patiently waiting......
Then on 7th............he was taken down to theatre and prepped!!!!!!! then a surgeon WHO HAD NEVER SEEN HIM BEFORE told him he was cancelling his surgery and sending him back to England. BUT MY DAD IS AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN and entitled to all treatment here!
So back on the ward my dad is fit to spit fire ,,,,,,,,,,,,my mum is calling him a chicken thinking he cancelled the op and my son is standing there with 4 nurses and several doctors who are flabbergasted saying this has never happened before.

My dad tells us the surgeon thought the operation TOO LARGE and that my Dad should go home to UK as he had to be many weeks in bed. MY dad already knew this for AUSTRALIA and had agreed to it.

SO with NO AFTER CARE AT ALL my dad is sent home with me within the hour.........

He says surgeon agreed to his flight home..........

THE DEATH OF BABY JELLYBEAN

I am a loving mum I think. I have fought homelessness and illnesses and gone without to raise my children to be amazing adults I totally am blessed to be around.
My niece is 17 and a few weeks ago announced I was to be a great aunt. There were photos on facebook and there was a lot of joy. I talked to the father of the baby and he was ok .
Then about 4 days ago on facebook my niece said it was over with her man.
She then said her mother was pressuring her for an abortion.
I spoke to my niece offering her a home here with her child.........my children agreeing it would be best for her and the baby.......
The father of the child came to talk to me.......saying he had no choices whether his child would live or die.....

And then this morning my niece wrote she is terminating the pregnancy when this little life is 14 weeks old .......

so I have written this 
and am grieving deeply .....for what might have been

There is a tiny life warm and alive
Its fighting for its life to survive
It has a heartbeat and kicks with little arms
And yet sadly I will never see its charms

I will never get to see their first word
Or photos or giggles never heard
I will never know how they would grow
Just the date of their death I will know

In sadness I sit and cry
And wonder truly why
When I fight so hard to live
Why a tiny baby is forced to die

I wish this little one my heart to hear
I love you little one even though I am not near
I will pray for your soul every single night
And know in my heart this is sadly not right

I will name you with love and bless you with joy
Give you a place for you to visit a toy
And I will know its my way to say
I still love you in death as an aunty may.

When did it happen

Hi all
I was sitting today and thinking about a lot of things as my world has been a little weird what with the wedding and my mum and dad here..............
and I thought it was time I explained my friend Steve ( who Mr Joe and Sam have met and Morning Angel has said Hi to and so has Pinky.)

I woke up one day and realised the PARA can no longer touch me emotionally . Where there was pain there is now a numbness a zero of which I am truly grateful.

I met Steve almost 4 months ago and I WAS NOT IN THE MOOD FOR A BOYFRIEND.

Over the last few months he has seen me become really ill, seen my parents and the chaos...........attended the wedding with me........after helping me for 48 hours to do the flowers...........
and he has really been amazing .

He works shift work at a mill and owns his own home and yet spends 3 hours nearly every week mowing my lawn for me.

We hug and sometimes kiss and that is it.

Nothing more.

He tells me he loves me and wants to share my world even knowing I might never love him 


He has done everything possible to aid my recovery from history and it was so weird this morning.

I woke up and NO I DID NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM lol
but I was walking around and I said 

I LOVE YOU

and who was I talking to..............

ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for 54 years I could never say that.

Now I dont know when it happened but it sure feels great.

Was not angry hurt or feeling unkind
I realised for six months I had been free
And now was a woman totally me

Wedding

Well today was the day my son Wayne at 25 married his bride. They met one night at a party in 2006 just hours before I was diagnosed with cancer.
They sat at a party blowing bubbles at each other and then playing twister to get a little closer.
Their relationship has NOT been easy. Janes sister chose to die about two years ago and her absence today must have been hard for Jane and her parents . They have lived with both me and her parents and I have watched Wayne work 12-16 hour days to get them out of debt.
I asked Wayne many times if he was SURE before he wed.
He gave me his word to wait until he was sure so today.............

My parents from the UK were there and Sarah my youngest was Bridesmaid. My grand daughter was flower girl. My sons Josh and Paul were best.men.
My daughter Vanessa my mother and myself stood and performed the ceremony of breaking the glass in both hebrew and english .
The sun shone and the bride was totally radiant.
I made the bouquets and all the table arrangements which took two days and mega stress as the weather here was a glorious 31celcius.

Speeches were made about Wayne as a boy and his family remembered.........

Steve my FRIEND over the last 3 months stood by me after seeing my tears all the day .........

And ghosts came to the wedding.

My late husband seemed to be in my head all the way to the wedding.
I had taken some of his things to let Wayne wear for the ceremony and on the journey as clear as if he was in front of me his voice came.

Tell Wayne I am up here in the clouds I have come from Seattle to watch the wedding. Tell him he never was a DUMB ASSHOLE.
( my late husbands words constantly when he was alive)

and I realised that it will be 10 years shortly of widowhood.
And I looked around at 5 of my children and felt PRIDE.

I gave a very short speech. MARTY my middle son and KIMBERLEY my daughter in the USA could not be at the ceremony.

So on their behalf I wished my child and his bride joy.

And then I came home

Shed a quiet tear
And wrote this blog

We are working on uploading pics tomorrow at last!!!!!!!!!!!

THE ULTIMATE GIFT

As many of you know I am the sole parent of 7 amazingly unique children.
I spoke to Mr Joe tonight about my health and an offer I had recieved from my youngest daughter Sarah Jane this week.

Sarah offered me her kidney.
Mr Joe said that was the highest compliment to me as a mother and showed how much she cared.

I thought about this .

My child is precious to me and for any child of mine I would die tomorrow.
I have lived an amazing life and would not see it fair to maybe limit her life and world when she is young healthy beautiful and has so much to offer for me to last longer.

At the moment the conversation was moot as my kidney is functioning well its just having ISSUES!
The hospital often talks about me being in CANCER REMISSION and of a future of Renal failure. OMG can these guys do the doom and gloom and reality checks.

BUT
I figure I am totally blessed to live and not exist and I dont need to look on the dark side.
When my children make me hurt or sad or unhappy I will now remember that I was offered the most ultimate gift by a child who loved me.

So to my daughter Sarah Jane thank you.
I wonder if faced with this what others would think if it was their child?

Tomorrow my mother shares her 78th birthday with me ,,,,,,,,,,,,,another amazing gift and I sit here wondering what on earth I can give back to these so magical people who surround me with love

Love you all too,........... my PDC family and wonders how many years I will hold the record for the most banned lady on PDC lol

Gday all

Its me! really it is

I am afraid to blog in case it means another drama lol

I went last monday to the Royal Brisbane Hospital to see my kidney specialist who I only see once a year.........

The appointment was for 10 am and my lift needed to be at work by 12.30 so was hoping for a quick hello and goodbye until next year.

My specialist was rushed into surgery but I was feeling a little OFF since coming out of the other hospital and so thought maybe I should wait.At 2.pm this nice male nurse said he was worried about me and I would be first in to see the doc.

The doc had no person communication skills and a weird habit.

He would ask you a question and you would respond and then he would look up at the sky in silence for at least a minute.

HMM HE SAYS
I THINK YOU NEED TO COME INTO THIS HOSPITAL

No I shakes my head. Doc on Saturday my mum and dad are flying in from england.

Doc smiling WELL AM SURE WE CAN GET YOU ON THE MEND MAYBE BY THEN

Ummm MAYBE!!!!!!!

Next thing I know while sitting in a chair they already have heaps of antibiotics going into me again. It appears this kidney bug makes superman a wimp.......

Confined to an isolated room

No tv.
Only dull book to read

Hmm aint this grand..........

5 days later they decide to let me home on 1 month more of antibiotics............

The instructions on them say between 10 and 3 NO SUNLIGHT........
No dairy products............

UMM but its 34celcius and everyone is going to beaches and pools.......

And doped on more morphine.......

I got up at 5 am yesterday and headed to the airport to hug my mum and dad.
The best medicine I could wish for.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its still too darn hot...............and I still burn with fevers

but...................I am a happy lady counting my blessings...........

Wot appened

Well I think me is totally JINXED this year sighs or was that last year and this.....
but I watched POLLYANNA the movie with Hayley Mills and we are supposed to look for things we are GLAD FOR....

SO ............... I am glad to be back in blogland
I am glad to be back out of hospital
Flipping eck was it a rotten thing to happen.
I was having some pains when on holiday and Steve was a one about women who are sick. Reckons his first wife was always ill so didnt like sick women.............. DONT SAY IT I KNOW ALREADY OK!!!!
But seeing as we were on holidays I shut up grit me teeth and tried to get well.
So we get back and I work my ass off as my parents are due here from england in 10 DAYS...........
this process means moving out of my bedroom into my office and fitting 100 things into space for 5 ..........making sure my house is tolerable............BLEACHING SCRUBBING AND CLEANING UGH
when I gets a few more pains........
and then I know we have hot weather 35c but I feel yuk
On the Sunday night I get out an old mercury thermometer and think it must be broken cos it says 38.6...........celcius

 Next morning I wake up and think sighs I had better see my wonderful doc.

She sits patiently and says I have to have a heap of tests and drugs and I am waiting for antibiotics..................no script........

UM DOC>................excuse moi.........

what about anti biotics........

?????

she smiles sweetly after I been in her place for an hour...........and says well its like this.............. you need to go to the hospital for some antibiotics in an IV.........

Nah
not happening!!!!!!!!

She nods head and promises no morphine and just A FEW HOURS ON ANTIBIOTICS.......

so I toddles home to get the animals sorted.........

and feels worse. The doc says 38.5 is my temp so me is a little warm........
and off to the hospital I go with the help of my elderly neighbour......

HI I FEEL YUK i answer as a very silly nurse says HOW DO YOU FEEL

and then whizzes me into a bed.

Nice doc arrives ENGLISH FROM GUYS HOSPITAL ......... I aint dead yet he is cute too lol

Nah just a shot of antibiotics she be right!

Puts me on ANTIBIOTICS AND THE ONE THING I HATE .........
NOT THE DREADED MORPHINE

sighs that means all those fantasies and floating in and out of
reality and the HEAT why the heck hot.......

A nice english nurse comes in and tells me she was from London and her man from Birmingham and they lived in WORCESTER...........

Oh hello cute doc............you back ...........
Yep Ann you got a stinker of a kidney infection and you only got one kidney so.............. think you have to stay in for a day or maybe two............

Why is it HOT OHHHHHHHHHHHH well your temp just went up to um 39.1c

Oh doc do what you want I am so high on morphine .........who cares I giggle!!!!!!

and spend 5 days in Hospital and now the demons still want two more weeks of tests grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........

but I kicked the morphine had the weeps and now waiting for my parents and the wedding!!!!!!

and if you really lucky I might not sound so totally insane tomorrow lol

STEVE WANTED TO PAY HIS AUNT OUR KEEP AS THEY ARE PENSIONERS AND DID NOT WANT TO PUT THEM OUT HOWEVER ......... WITH NO MONEY FOR FOUR DAYS WE ENDED UP BUYING THEM A SLAP UP MEAL AS THANKS AT END OF TIME THERE

STEVE WANTED TIME OUT AND WHEN WE SPOKE HE CHOSE NOT TO TAKE IT
APPARENTLY HE WAS FEELING TOO CLOSE TO ME AND AS I DONT HAVE ANY LOVE FOR STEVE ONLY FRIENDSHIP WAS SOMETHING HE HAD TO DEAL WITH
WE ARE TOGETHER STILL AND WILL SHOW YOU OUR AMAZING TIMES I AM JUST NOT GOING TO FALL IN LOVE smiles

MR JOE WAS WONDERFUL HE TEXTED HIS CONCERN AND OFFERED ASSISTANCE
MY BACK YARD CAME UP TO THE KITCHEN WITH WATER AND MUD INSIDE THE KITCHEN AREA WAS CLEARED.

MY CHILDREN ARE RESUMING A NORMAL LIFE AS IS ALL OF QUEENSLAND ATTEMPTING TO BUT A CYCLONE IS HEADING BACK TO THE COAST SO WE ARE WATCHING CYCLONE ANTHONY TO SEE IF HE IS JUST A LITTLE HICCUP OR MORE DRAMA LOL

OK OTHER NEWS
MY PARENTS ARRIVE FROM ENGLAND ON FEBRUARY 19th.
MY DAD WILL BE ALMOST 89 and my MUM is having her 79th BIRTHDAY here with me........WOOHOO
and On FEBRUARY 27th my youngest son will be a married man.....

Queensland my amazing state

What about me?
Ok Ok I know I have been remiss since I came home and have so many pics for the holiday to load but I got my reasons I have been mega busy since my return.
As you all know QUEENSLAND suffered horrific floods which are then traversing to Victoria and parts of NEW SOUTH WALES and so our world has been turned upside down here.

So first the floods...
My home was on the list for evacuation but I didnt know for 24 hours as I was in the Victorian Alps and I took ill on the trip and needed medication so we went to a town and my mobile went off the hook.

The texts flew
The first message was......... DONT WORRY MUM MARTY IS ALIVE..........

Um not being funny but with no explanation of why!!!!!!!! I was a little bewildered.
The next message was EVACUATE YOUR HOME GO TO HIGHER GROUND........ from the government.
Not being funny but not much higher than the Victorian Alps lol
Ok so next message MUM I AM AT HOME AND THE TOWN IS CUT OFF AND SURROUNDED BY WATER ITS COMING UP TO THE BACK DOOR WHAT DO I DO....... from Sarah my youngest at home in MY HOUSE!!!!
OMG! MY dog and Cat and CHILD....
Next son PAUL......MA THE RIVER IS COMING UP FAST AND THEY ARE OPENING THE DAM...... ITS TIME WE MIGHT HAVE TO EVACUATE....... your grand daughter is fine.......
And then WAYNE my son in the next town.....
MUM we are evacuating.........House has water in it......... THIS IS SCARY!!!!!!!
Ok phew how am I going this is like only 5 minutes of my life and MOST OF MY CHILDREN .......where is Vanessa....my eldest child in BRISBANE.......
Ok HI MUM I GOT NO POWER AND RIVER IS RISING THEY GOT HOTELS BOATS AND EVEN BRIDGES FLOATING DOWN THE RIVER..................I going to evacuate I LOVE YOU MUM.....

Ok so in tears and scared I talk to Steve my friend and companion on this trip and UPSETTING HIS FRIENDS WHO PLANNED THE HOLIDAY FOR 20 years we CANCEL the holiday to go to head back to Queensland.
We hit Canberra and their home........and turn on the TV and go
OMG and we cant get HOME!!!!!!!!!!
All roads to Queensland are closed off.
Now the people we were staying with not pleasant company cos we cancelled the holiday so not so nicely we are asked to leave.....NO COMPASSION IN SOME PEOPLE
so now not only am I talking to my kids who are scared and worried I now have no where to go.
Steve thinks this is a really good time while I have a lousy kidney infection to deal with to tell me he thinks its time we had time out from being together!!!!!
I dont swear much but WTF came to mind lol

So we headed for the town of WOY WOY in NEW SOUTH WALES to an AUNTY OF STEVE who had a lovely home and thought she would put us up if we offered to pay our keep until we could get home.

No problem she says........
So off we go to bank

NO ACCESS TO MONEY

Over 5 days I sat watching the news watching the death destruction and ruination of some of Queenslands icons. I watched strangers save lives and others lose them.......
I watched my own town totally closed off all roads and I heard my childrens stories......

I read messages from family who never speak to me

I wept tears of sadness and tears of Joy

And i saw the courage and inner strength of the people of my land.

And I was so proud to be Australian

Do you remember the days
When you were home alone
When you talked to me
In a monotonous tone

When you went to work
And came home to an empty house
And there you sat
Quiet as a mouse

And then came a message
From you my friend
That you had met someone
Close in the end

You wrote of your visits
To the next town
Your words were lighter
Never down

On moving day
